Welcome to the world of precision designing and all things budding engineers!! We will make a blooper’s page for everyone’s entertainment but for this Newsletter we will celebrate the fine tuning of our “cars”.

The success criteria for this project was to see how far students’ cars could go in a STRAIGHT line…. Then convert units of measurement and use the Speed, Distance, Time equations in order to conclude who had the fastest car. Watch this space for our final conclusions.

Ayden is ensuring he is wiring his motor to the correct spots; Bryce is the fastest X-country runner in his Age Group but is his car the fastest in THIS field??; Anina – best glue gun and a pretty cool vehicle (bottom RHS). Harry – he has a great car and has endured all sorts of hiccups to make it “work” – Henry Ford and Thomas Edison would be proud (the car is NOT wrong Harry you simply made a “Front Wheel” drive)!!
